Position Overview
The HAND PACKAGER I is responsible for assisting the Lead Operator with daily operations to meet production and order fulfillment schedules. Attendance and personal accountability in this role are critical. Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Position Overview
The Quality Control Technician provides day-to-day quality tests to ensure the finished product is within specification. This position is responsible for providing and promoting an environment of teamwork, mutual respect, and interdepartmental cooperation.
Responsibilities include running lab tests,
documenting results, sampling, data entry, and other technical duties within the plant in support of quality and plant operations. Attendance and personal accountability in this role are critical. This role is critical to the quality performance of our organization.

Essential Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external customers
• Perform lab testing and document results
• Document and log data into the electronic system
• Collect product samples following specifications
• Responsible for following and enforcing all food safety, quality, and occupational safety rules established by the company following state & and federal regulations and the SQF Food Safety Code 9.0.
• Acquire and run required samples in a timely manner.
• Run complete analysis on required samples
• Inform mill operators, production manager, or quality manager of any results outside of established limits
• Professionally perform assigned duties & and participate in cross-functional training with other departmental tasks

Work conditions include a climate-controlled area for approx. 75% of the duties assigned with regular work performed in the plant setting and as needed.

This role provides on-site office support by executing general office tasks and administrative duties, organizing schedules, collecting and processing raw material samples, entering data, maintaining a filing system, and maintaining office equipment.
